Week 27. Yey! It's been six months.

Hey! I will start telling you the bad part of my weekend. On Tuesday when I was ready to print my tickets to DC the airline told me that I never bought it and that my credit card never went through. So now the tickets that were 140 dollars were 340. I ended up not going.
During the week I went to see a basketball game in our Indian stadium It was pretty fun. The girls were playing for Districts but they didn't win so basketball season is over now. During the week I've done a lot o homework also. It was a short week because we didn't have school on Friday so that was great! On Thursday we had our last High School Pep Rally. The Cheerleaders made a performance and the Spring Sports were introduced: Lacrosse, Softball, Baseball, Tennis and Track. It was so sad to think that after three great Pep Rallies this was the last one. Although is still Mid February, It seems like things are finishing...

After school on Thursday, Chiara and I went to this really cute tea shop to get some Bubble tea. We enjoyed it and we talked about our plans for June. After graduation we have twenty days until we go home and we both want to travel. San Francisco, California is our first option and we are already looking for cheap flights. I will keep you updated with new details. We also went to have dinner with the track team in a Salad place. When I came home I made my suitcase (I spend the weekend at Taylor's). On Thursday night there was a Girl's night at Mackenzie's. Taylor, Mackenzie, Patricia, Sophia and me were there. Abby (Mackenzie's sister) and Sky were also there with us. Sky goes to AP Politics with me and she is a cutie. We had cupcakes, watched movies and Gossip. We slept in sofas and beds all together.

On Friday we woke up and had breakfast all together. At about eleven Taylor and I left. We tried to go to the beach but it was very windy so we stayed at her dock and sunbathed there. We had lunch at this place that overlooked the beach with her mom and Grandma. I had a Ceasar Roll it was very good. At about four I went with her to get some irons the place was kinda far but car trips are the best when we are together. We sang, danced, put the music super loud and did crazy snapchats. She worked from six to nine so I went to my Spanish friends house to spend some time with her. We talked about all of our exchange and how was everything going. It's great to have someone form the same country near you, we understand each other way better. We went to her host parents restaurant to have dinner and at ten Tay picked me up. This day It was the celebration of my sixth month here, really special!

On Saturday Taylor worked until late so I slept in and watched some Spanish programs in bed. I was a little homesick. It was Carnival in Spain and all my friends were getting dressed to go and party and it was also Valentine's Day! In the afternoon Tay and I went to play tennis and went in our bikes. We went for dinner to Casey's to have a good burger and we dressed up to be each other Valentine.  The next day we woke up and had a good breakfast. We also watched Mamma Mia. We took some pics and Tay drove Chiara and I to my house. Chiara and I took our bikes and went to Wabasso Beach to get some pizzas and had dinner there in the beach watching the sunset. At night we saw a movie called: October Babby. At ten my parents came home, I was excited to see them I missed them!

And the end of the four day weekend came. Today I just slept in and talked to my parents throw FaceTime. I cleaned up my bedroom and I updated my profiles. Not much as you can see. Now I'm eating pizza while I'm writing. This week I have to finish a lot of things. I have to talk to Jully about our trip, I have to go to the bank to see why my Spanish card does not work and I also have to go to the nurse to fix some medical stuff because I don't want to go to the doctor and get a shot. We'll see!

 My cards from Spain!

Why is time going by so fast?

Week 26. Welcome to February.

New month and already my sixth month here. Wow! Time is going by so fast. I did't really have bad comments about my last post and no one told me that I had any major error (except my dad) so I think I should continue writing it in English.
This week has been great. I really have to stop and think what I did because I really don't remember. After three minutes thinking and trying to remember here I go. On Monday they gave me the first semester grades. They actually took a while. I goy all A and my surprise came when I saw that I had a  4.7 GPA. What? I was in the level of Anabelle that is going to Brown and the other kid of my high school that is going to Harvard. Eventually I saw that my GPA was so high because I had only 3.5 credits. It was sad and depressing. I need 22 to be able to graduate. So I went to mi Guidance really worried and she told me that she already passed all my Spanish grades and that to be able to Graduate I only have to pass an Online Class (Florida Virtual School) and an Algebra EOC. Thank god I was really worried my dad is coming all the way from Spain for my Graduation and also my grandparents and aunts. I need to Graduate!
On Tuesday after school I tried another sport: Track. It was even worse that Flag Football we had to run for two miles and they were timing us. It was the worse thing ever. I really wanted to throw up after the practice. I was the last one and everyone was cheering me up telling me that I could do it. I've decided American sports are to hard for me so I will just run, take the bike and go to the gym with Anna.
On Wednesday I tried Yoga with my mom and I really liked it. It was very relaxing. The day after we went to the Mall to shop and try to fix my phone plan. It ended up being imposible to switch so I will just stay with Jill's plan for the rest of the year. On Friday after School Chiara and I went to the mall and bought some cool stuff from Hollister. We also ate a good salad. My grammy came to see me this weekend so she came to pick us up at about four in the afternoon. It was great seeing her after two months. We went with my host family and Chiara for dinner that night to an Italian Restaurant. After Maddy and Andy took us to Taylor's house, where there was a girls night. We watched movies, did our nails and just talked about everything.
My host mom picked Chiara and me early on Saturday morning. That was not a problem because our friends were up and ready to have breakfast in a restaurant near the beach at 7pm. Crazy! We went to the farmer's market and meet up with my grandparents. We looked around and had a smoothie. We also drove around my last host home, my high school and downtown. We went to have an ice-cream with Taylor in the beach and we walked around the beach malls. We finally had dinner in my house. It was great seeing my grammy and I really enjoyed it. At night I went with Andy, Dillon and Maddy to a bonfire at the beach.
Today I have woken up very late. My host dad niece has come to visit for two days with her little boys. I haven't really done anything and I had a lot to do. I watched the Goya's (which are the movie awards in Spain). I really enjoyed seeing it and I felt a little bit closer to my home.
I'm really nervous now because tomorrow I have to do a presentation of my home country to be able to go in a trip with AFS. On Friday I'm flying to DC. Really excited, but it's going to be so cold!
See you in a week.

Week 25. Happy,happy,happy.

Hey! So my seventh month in the USA has just started today and I thought It would be a good day to start writing in English in my cool and interesting blog. I know I will make mistakes and that sometimes you would not understand some sentences but hey It's my year abroad and It's the language I'm trying to improve. I know my dad will send me this long and boring massages telling me all the mistakes I did but all of you crazy people that read my blog are also welcome to leave a comment telling me how horrible my spelling is and correcting me all the strange american words I spelled wrong.
The last time I wrote in my blog it was Wednesday I believe... So I didn't go to school Wednesday or Friday. I was sick. I had a head ache a sore throat and I was not feeling good at all so I stayed home. Also my legs were really hurting from the conditioning of Flag football. I decided it's to much work for a girl that is not really "athletic".Missing your mom while your are sick is normal and it will be one of the few times you will really miss home. I'm so lucky to have such an amazing host mom. I made it thorough without any problem. She made soup for me, she brought me orange juice every morning for breakfast and the most important thing she gave me all her love.
On Friday I started feeling better so in the afternoon I went with my mom to a jewelry party. One of her friends was throwing one at her house. We had sweets and talked about all the bracelets and rings that were there. After we went to Downtown Vero. Every last Friday of every month all the shops open until nine at night. We walked around, there was life music and a lot of different people walking around. We end up eating in a "Real Mexican" place. Hot...very hot tacos. I was almost crying eating them. After walking we went to Kilted Mermaid, we had an amazing chocolate fondue. I don't know what and how I am going to live when I go back to Spain and I realize I don't have this amazing pub near my home. I stayed up late watching some Spanish TV series.
On Saturday Chiara came to my house early in the morning we had bacon and eggs for breakfast and we went to the Farmer's marker in Ft.Pierce. We saw the paintings, the jewelry and all the clothing. We had an amazing smoothie and we bought some good and fresh fruit. We arrived home and Francesca, the other exchange from Italy was already in my house waiting for us. The three of us went to the beach. It was cold and windy so we didn't last long. We came home and had a grilled sandwich for lunch. In the afternoon we went in a bike ride. Together we explored my neighborhood. It is so pretty and colorful. We went along a lake and we ended up on the beach. The perfect light to take some good pics. I love sunsets....you might already know it. We went back home and we had Iranian food for dinner. At about nine Maddy took us to Taylor's house. Francesca's parents were there and took her home and Chiara and I stayed there with all our friends. There were a lot of people. Antonio, Yesenia and Keke they are the best. Heyden, Conrad and Mads a foreign exchange form Denmark. Pretty P and one of his friends and four boys from St. Edwards. Anabelle was also there I love that girl so much....she is so smart and cute she will be going to Brown on August.
Today we woke up early. Taylor drove me home with her little brother, Philip. Sunday's have always been relax days.....last year in Spain was "stressing day'. I FaceTime my friend Bea from Spain...(although I know you are not reading my blog I love u tons)....and Irene (my bestie). I went to a Garden festival. I ate there a burger and we came home a couple hours later. While everyone was taking a nap I watched a crime movie. It was a real story about this foreign exchange Amanda Knox that went a year to Italy and that was charge of killing her room mate another exchange from England. It was an interesting story. We had an awesome dinner while we were watching the Super Bowl. A big afternoon for Americans. New England against Seattle. I think I will never be able to understand football is to hard but still watching it made me miss Vero games and the Friday nights in the field. It was an amazing show and my dad was really good and thought me some things.
It's almost eleven and I have to review some things for tomorrow....I have my first COPO test and is supposed to be super hard...we'll see. BTW....I'm starting track tomorrow.

Sisters are forever

 Good Saturday night.
